Prism Reticles
Typically, Schmidt-Pechan prism reticles are used in various defence optical devices to provide day/night visibility. These are much more complex than the normal planar reticles in that they have a mix of opaque and clear areas so that the pattern can be back illuminated for visibility at night. Coatings are often highly reflective aluminium with a protected layer.
