Usage Note
When using Lugols, we advise to clean the cells as soon as the analysis is complete and dry them thoroughly, preferably without heat (as thermal coefficient of glass and metal frame are different). This will help extend their life. Obviously the use of any acids or solvents could cause breakdown of the cement used.
