Chrome Reticles are probably the most commonly used type in sighting systems. Graticules has been producing these for military applications with a heritage going back to WW1.

Etch and fill reticles, also known as day/night reticles are a specialty of Graticules Optics Limited. The skills and equipment required to make them are an important part of the complex production process, and very few companies have these capabilities. These reticles are predominantly used in night vision and periscope sights but have uses in numerous applications where a coloured image is required against a background where a normal black image would not be clearly visible. By side illuminating the reticle the etched and filled pattern will appear white against a dark background

Graticules Optics has been producing defence reticles for over 60 years and can also offer cemented doublets, multi-layer coatings and small optical assemblies.

Precision Apertures are another key element in many defence applications. Graticules use electroforming and laser cutting methods to produce percise, high definition slits and pinholes.
